A stage MTB race in Logroño, formerly known as La Rioja Bike Race, with three stages including one UCI C2 category, combining elite competition with activities open to cyclotourists.

La Rioja Bike Experience

Born as La Rioja Bike Race, the event has evolved into La Rioja Bike Experience, a three-day event in Logroño that combines top-level MTB competition —with a UCI C2 category stage— and activities open to cyclotourists, families and enthusiasts, cementing the Rioja capital as a mountain-bike reference in Spain.

Three stages and over 3,700 meters of elevation gain

The route is split into three stages starting and finishing in Logroño: a first one of 26.6 km and 604 m of elevation gain, a second —the queen stage, UCI C2 category— of 65.2 km and over 1,900 m of elevation gain, and a third of 51.4 km and 1,200 m. Together, they add up to more than 3,700 meters of accumulated elevation gain over three consecutive days.

Elite competition and an experience open to all

Beyond the competitive side, the event includes parallel activities such as Bike Kids to introduce children to cycling, and an exhibition area with industry brands, with the Palacio de los Deportes in Logroño as the nerve center for the three days.

Logroño beyond the stages

Logroño, the capital of La Rioja, combines the event’s sporting demands with its food scene on Calle Laurel and its proximity to the main wineries of Rioja Alta. Discover more events in the region in La Rioja.
