Mussara Salou Costa Daurada

Under the motto “Live the legend of the Pink Tide”, Mussara Salou Costa Daurada starts and finishes on Salou’s Paseo Jaume I, heading into the Priorat massif on one of the most demanding routes on the Catalan cyclosportive calendar.

A route with two distances

The event offers two options:

  • 182K: the full route, with close to 3,000 meters of accumulated elevation gain, bringing back the demanding Mama Por climb, an ascent of just over six kilometers with ramps of up to 18%
  • 108K: a shorter version, with 1,350 meters of climbing, that keeps part of the route through the Priorat

The Mama Por challenge

The Mama Por climb is the decisive section of the long route: a short but brutal ascent, with double-digit ramps that test riders after many kilometers on the road. Conquering it is, for many, the main goal of the 2026 edition.

Salou and the Priorat beyond the ride

The route connects the tourist coastline of Salou with the wine-producing interior of the Priorat, one of Catalonia’s most renowned wine regions. Using the weekend to visit the area’s wineries rounds out the experience beyond the bike. Discover more events in the region in Catalonia.
