Gran Fondo por València
The Gran Fondo Internacional por València is one of the most complete urban cyclosportives on the Valencian Community calendar. Starting and finishing at La Marina, the 2027 edition combines the atmosphere of a major coastal city with two road routes climbing passes recently featured in the Vuelta a España.
A 177-kilometre route
The Gran Fondo route covers 177 km and 2,003 m of positive elevation inland from the province of Valencia, chaining together demanding climbs:
- Canteras
- L’Oronet
- Alto Segart
- Chirivilla
Riders who prefer a shorter challenge can choose the Medio Fondo, 148 km with 1,474 m D+, which shares much of the main course while cutting the distance.
A race starting in the heart of Valencia
Starting from La Marina, next to Valencia’s historic port, gives this race an urban atmosphere uncommon among Spain’s major road cyclosportives. Entry, from €55, includes the official Gsport jersey, and riding climbs recently featured in the Vuelta a España adds extra appeal for pro cycling fans.
